POLAR is a membership scheme which, for a minimal upfront commitment and a small monthly subscription, kits you out with everything you need to run your electric vehicle in a convenient, easy and cost-effective way. All from one simple sign-up.  

Your standard POLAR membership provides:

• an advanced Homecharge wall box in your garage or driveway. This Homecharge wall box is guaranteed for life and futureproofed with a 32A charging capability.

• unlimited access to our network of over 4,000 public charging bays around the country. Simply swipe your POLAR card to open the post, plug in and start charging.

• free access to an iPhone/iPad app giving charging bay location and availability data in real time. Once you’ve found your nearest or most convenient charging post, one click gives you turn-by-turn navigation to it.

• access to a range of specialist EV tariffs from leading electricity suppliers.

• a range of discounts on parking, hotels, roadside restaurants and much more.

For just £29.50 per month - reduced to £24.50 until December 2012 - you can charge your EV where you live and where you go.

If all your charging needs can be met from home, you can opt for a simple Homecharge-only package (one Homecharge unit installed at your home, with no access to the POLAR public network) for just £19.50 per month.

If you can’t use a Homecharge wall box for any reason – for example, if you don’t currently have access to off-street parking – the market-leading POLAR public network of over 4,000 posts is available to you as a network-only package for just £19.50 per month, using a POLAR network card.

If your situation changes and you do get access to off-street parking, it’s easy to move up to full POLAR membership at just £29.50 a month.
